I had the special opportunity to create a three-piece set of commissioned paintings for a family's three distinctly different homes. Being of Italian heritage, the only request was to incorporate the colors of the Italian flag: green, white, and red.

To ensure the artworks were complementary, I chose to use the olive branch, which symbolizes peace, longevity, resilience, abundance, wisdom, and blessings in Italian culture. This theme would connect each family member, emphasizing their shared bond.
